Roosevelt High School teacher Shawn McCurtain told the class of students to head downstairs to take their final in economics.
"Yes, sir," Senior Jabre White recalls telling him.
"You meant to say, "Yes, sir, master,' " McCurtain allegedly shot back.
Wake Up People! This is sad, and i'm sure there's a lot of Black students that went through similar, or even worse situations than Jabre White.
Don't be afraid people to speak up against racism, discrimination, and injustice. They want you to believe that this sorta stuff happened years ago, and for people to move on. What they don't want people to know is that racism and discrimination is much stronger today than ever.
